Family Literacy

“You are your child’s first and most important teacher.”

Vita’s Family Literacy classes help students gain English language and parenting skills that enable them to become full partners in the educational development of their young children. Parents and children engage in fun educational activities that create multi-generational learning. Interactive Literacy Activities (ILA) aim to improve a child’s language and literacy development through parent and child meaningful interactions. Group field trips connect students and families to their community.
