Our Impact

Vita Education Services serves adult learners with low literacy in Bucks County and nearby areas. Improving literacy rates is a pressing need in the United States. Studies have shown that improving adult literacy rates can increase employment options, boost economic mobility, and raise children’s academic achievements. Learning English enables immigrants and refugees to integrate into their communities, provides access to information, and fosters self-sufficiency. It’s been proven that cognitive-skills programs like Vita’s corrections-based Decisions courses reduce recidivism rates, and that individuals who earn their GED while incarcerated are less likely to relapse into illegal behaviors.
