Vita’s GED Preparation and Basic Skills classes are free for all students. Classes enable students to reach personal and professional goals, including new or more meaningful employment, additional training programs, or higher education. Vita works with students to create a learning program that aligns with your goals and your schedule. GED Preparation classes are held online. Basic Skills classes are held in person at various locations: Doylestown, Warminster, Bensalem, Levittown, and Bristol.
We welcome students who are:
- Residents of Pennsylvania.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Looking to improve skills for work, training or continuing education.
- Able to speak and understand English well. (Classes are not appropriate for students seeking basic English communication skills)
GED Preparation (High School Equivalency Test)
GED Preparation classes provide students with study and test taking skills to enable them to pass all sections of the GED test – Math, Science, Social Studies, and Reasoning through Language Arts. Classes are offered online, and Vita offers students access to technology at its Bristol location for those who may have limited access to internet or a device. Students may enroll in day or evening classes.
GED practice tests are provided at no charge, and Vita offers a scholarship program for students who may need assistance to cover the cost of the GED subject tests.
Basic Skills
- Reading Tutoring Classes.
- Writing Tutoring Classes.
- Math Tutoring Classes.
- Transitional English Classes to help English Language Learners gain additional language skills for work or career training.
Classes are offered in person in the day or evening at locations convenient for students. Vita has technology available at its Bristol location for students to participate in class and use for homework.
